Renewable Energy Technical Lead

Responsibilities: Develop and oversee renewable energy projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet time, cost, and quality objectives. Evaluate project feasibility by conducting site assessments, studying energy consumption outlook, and determining the best renewable technology to adopt. Lead the preparation of detailed project plans, including risk assessments, safety guidelines, and contingency plans. Work closely with stakeholders, providing them with regular updates and incorporating their feedback into project designs. Stay up-to-date with trends and advancements in renewable energy technologies and propose their application whenever beneficial. Maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and partners, negotiating contracts as needed to support project objectives. Coordinate with regulatory bodies to acquire necessary permissions and ensure project compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards.

Qualifications: A bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a relevant field is required. A professional certification in renewable energy or project management is an advantage. At least five years of experience in renewable energy development, with a track record of successful project delivery. Deep knowledge of a wide range of renewable technologies, including solar, wind, hydro, and bioenergy. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate and motivate teams to deliver under strict deadlines and budget constraints. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Comfortable working with technical software and equipment, and familiarity with CAD software is a plus. Willingness and ability to travel as required.
