Processing Lead

Responsibilities: Job Content and

Duties: Operation of processing equipment in assigned department. Train and supervise hourly and seasonal employees in proper work procedures, and document training performed Maintain accurate payroll and attendance records on hourly and seasonal employees, and submit weekly report of hours worked by all direct reports to Payroll to meet specified deadlines Ensure compliance with all plant rules and regulations, including safety and current bargaining union agreement. Conduct preliminary counseling with hourly and seasonal employees and disciplinary action when necessary, following discussion with Supervisor; document and communicate action taken to the Supervisor and to the Plant Human Resources Manager.

Required: Minimum High School diploma, with some college or technical school preferred.2-3 years experience in production/manufacturing industry 2-3 years supervisory experience preferred Must be able to assume a flexible work schedule, to include overtime and weekends as necessary Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) desired
