Respiratory Therapist

Schedule: 36 hours week

Shift Hours: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AMTravel rate: $18.50/hr (taxable) + $1,820/week (travel reimbursement) = $2,486/week gross pay

Job Description: The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care as prescribed by physicians. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the diagnostic evaluation, treatment, management, education, rehabilitation, and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.

Responsibilities: Obtaining and analysing physiological specimens and interpreting physiologic data. Performing cardiopulmonary tests and diagnostic studies. Applying and monitoring medical gases and environmental control systems. Providing mechanical ventilatory support. Providing artificial airway care. Performing bronchopulmonary hygiene

Experience: Candidates MUST have experience with Paediatric patients, NICU, Adult Emergency Department, and Critical Care Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required. Skillsets: Respiratory Therapy Paediatric Respiratory CareNICUAdult Emergency Department Critical Care
