Join Zaxby’s as a Cook in our Food & Beverage Operations team. Prepare high‑quality chicken meals, sandwiches, salads, and sides to brand standards in a fast-paced, friendly environment. You’ll follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety procedures while operating grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate, timely orders for dine-in, drive-thru, and catering. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and adhere to health and sanitation standards. Prepare and cook Zaxby’s menu items to recipe and portion standards Operate fryers, grills, and other kitchen equipment safely Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures Ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time for dine-in, drive-thru, and catering Stock, rotate, and label food items to maintain freshness Keep kitchen, prep areas, and equipment clean and organized Communicate with team members and front-of-house staff to coordinate orders Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed Follow company policies, checklists, and opening/closing procedures Support a friendly, guest-focused environment through teamwork and reliability Short-order cooking Fryer and grill operation Food safety and sanitation Recipe and portion control Basic knife skills Kitchen equipment operation Order accuracy and ticket reading Time management in high volume settings Cleaning and sanitizing procedures Basic POS and kitchen communication Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Food Handler Certification (preferred) ServSafe Food Handler or Manager (preferred)
