Learning & Development Analyst

Overview In this role you will support MP Materials’ learning and development strategy through data analysis, LMS administration, and training operations. You will generate dashboards and reports, maintain learning records, and coordinate onboarding and training activities to boost employee growth. You will deliver actionable insights on training effectiveness to enable data-driven decisions and enhance the learner experience. This position offers the chance to shape L&D processes within a mission-driven manufacturing context, contributing to operational excellence and talent development. You will work closely with HR and cross-functional partners to scale learning across the organization. Responsibilities Collect, analyze, and interpret training data to measure program effectiveness and identify trends Build dashboards and reports for the L&D team, HR partners, and leaders Track metrics such as attendance, completion rates, assessment scores, progress trends, and feedback Support evaluation efforts (pre/post trainings, surveys, ROI insights)Ensure data accuracy and integrity across learning systems Coordinate logistics for training programs, workshops, and virtual events Maintain L&D calendars and project trackers Provide administrative support for new hire onboarding classes Assist with LMS operations, including course setup, assignments, reporting, and troubleshooting Assist in maintaining user data, learning paths, certifications, and compliance records Upload, test, and update eLearning modules and digital content Support user access issues and coordinate with IT or vendors as needed Contribute to process improvements to enhance learner experience and L&D operations Collaborate with team to support project initiatives and content updates Stay current on industry best practices in L&D data analytics and learning technologies Key requirements 2–5 years of experience in learning analytics or a related support role Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and reporting training data Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, formulas, dashboards)Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI or Tableau for dashboard development Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS)Experience supporting training events, onboarding, or employee development programscollaborationproblem solvingattention to detail Microsoft Excel Power BITableau
