Job Description:
The Warehouse Specialist ensures smooth operations and efficient completion of projects, with the daily activities in the warehouse,
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensures that the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete assignments.
Provides support to the Warehouse Supervisors with the daily warehouse workflow.
Assists with conducting daily safety checks on equipment, including forklift trucks, conveyor equipment, and specific portions of tractor-trailer and over-the-road trucks.
Assist with the inspection of the quality and quantity of supplies and equipment delivered to the team.
Maintains detailed and accurate warehouse work records.
Collaborates with the team to identify ways to improve departmental effectiveness and implements viable ideas.
Orders new equipment as requested by management.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of organization, with attention to details
- Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in the warehouse.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
REQUIRED:
At least 1-2 years of related warehouse work experienceREQUIRED: Chinese and English proficiency.
REQUIRED: ERP inventory and FTZ system experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Working with the Warehouse Team to provide support when needed
- Must be able to lift up to 15-30 pounds at times.
- Ability to work in a warehouse without AC
Compensation: -Salary based on experience and knowledge
