Network Technician (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities: Install and configure network hardware, devices, and cabling infrastructure. Configure and maintain network software and connectivity services. Monitor network performance and identify opportunities for optimization. Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, hardware, and software issues. Ensure network security controls are implemented and maintained. Perform routine network maintenance, upgrades, and equipment replacements. Diagnose network bottlenecks and implement corrective actions. Support end users and technical teams with network-related issues. Maintain network documentation, configurations, and support records. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure network availability and operational efficiency. Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Networking, or a related field. Professional networking certification such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent preferred. Strong knowledge of network hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance. Experience troubleshooting network connectivity, performance, and infrastructure issues. Understanding of network security principles and best practices. Knowledge of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching technologies. Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. Experience working with network monitoring and management tools. Ability to document configurations, procedures, and technical solutions effectively. Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer support skills. The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $60.00/hr.
