Location: Southbridge, MA Facility: UMass Memorial Health – Harrington Hospital Department: Hospital Medicine Schedule: Full Time UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Hospital Medicine team at Harrington Hospital. Harrington Hospital in Southbridge, MA is a community-focused, acute care hospital serving patients across South Central Massachusetts and Northeastern Connecticut. As part of UMass Memorial Health, Harrington combines the personalized approach of a community hospital with access to the resources, specialty expertise, and academic strength of the region's largest health system. Key HighlightsFull Time Schedule consisting of 4- 10 hour shifts per week Collaborative, team-based model with Hospital Medicine Attendings and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). No procedures required Epic EMR and integrated clinical systems ResponsibilitiesPerform and document complete history and physical exams Develop diagnoses and treatment plans based on clinical evaluation Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies Participate in daily inpatient rounds and document progress notes Collaborate with consulting services and interdisciplinary teams Perform routine bedside procedures per delineation of privileges QualificationsAMastersdegreefrom an accredited Physician Assistantor Nurse Practitionerprogram Eligible or current Massachusetts license, with national certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, as applicable) Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration arerequired.
