Certifications: ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
Must-Have:
- One year of acute, clinical radiology experience
- At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRTCurrent BCLS certification
- Proficient computer skillsCT/Fusion Certification
Description:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. They are responsible for providing quality imaging. The technologist supports the Radiologist by assisting in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. They are responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS. BLS, DCI/BVP is required.
