Dispatcher - Texas

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Coordinate harbor traffic for company fleets and charter boats Review, update, and execute orders for boat/barge deliveries to maximize efficiency Monitor emails and phone calls for barge orders and process data entry Monitor, update, and communicate ship lists and schedules, line boat orders, barge pick-ups, and fleet space Enter and process barge billing as required Additional duties and responsibilities as required or requested Participate in safety and industry audits while promoting a culture of safetyEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Prior Customer Service experience is required. Proficient computer and clerical skillsEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:High School diploma or successful completion of GEDSKILL REQUIREMENTS:Must have good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English. The ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Be a proactive problem solver with a high degree of organization. Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook Remain calm in high-pressure situations. Ability to make quick decisions that meet established goals when under pressure.
