Line Cook

Fricker’s USA, LLC is seeking a Kitchen Line Cook to join our lively sports bar team. In this fast-paced role, you’ll prepare and cook menu items to spec, including wings and classic American fare, while maintaining portion, quality, and ticket-time standards. You’ll set up and break down stations, follow recipes, handle fryers and grills safely, and keep a clean, organized work area that meets food safety and sanitation guidelines. Working closely with other cooks and front-of-house staff, you’ll ensure accurate, attractive plates and consistent guest experiences in a fun, team-focused environment with growth potential. Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and brand standards Set up, stock, and break down hot and cold line stations Operate fryers, grills, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely Ensure food quality, portion control, and timely ticket execution Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures Maintain a clean, organized work area and proper food storage Communicate with expo and servers to ensure accurate orders Assist with prep work, labeling, and rotation (FIFO) Monitor product levels and report low stock or issues to management Support team members and contribute to a positive, fast-paced kitchen environment Line cooking on grill, fry, and sauté stations Food preparation and knife skills Reading and executing recipes and tickets Food safety and sanitation practices Operating commercial kitchen equipment Time management in a high-volume kitchen Station setup, stocking, and breakdown Portioning and plating standards Communication with BOH and FOH staff Multi-tasking under pressure during peak hours Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Food Handler or ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain) Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation standards
