Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel RN - IMC/IMU/PCU/STEPDOWN | Lake Havasu City, AZ | Contract Quick Look Weekly Gross Pay: Local Rate: $51 Guaranteed Hours: 36 Shift: 19:00-07:30, 12 Hours Duration: 12 weeks Number of Openings: 1 Join a leading acute-care hospital as an RN specializing in IMC/IMU/PCU/STEPDOWN in beautiful Lake Havasu City, AZ. This facility is a Joint Commission Accredited community hospital and regional referral center, offering an excellent opportunity for travel nurses looking to expand their experience in a supportive environment. As a Travel RN, you will work in a 30-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:3, providing care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, CABG pod 2, Acute Respiratory Failure, and Atrial Fibrillation with RVR. The position offers a flexible schedule with no block schedule requests, and while 48-hour requests can be considered, they are not guaranteed.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering high-quality patient care in the IMC unit Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Monitoring patient conditions and administering medications as prescribed Responding to emergency situations and providing appropriate interventions To qualify for this position, candidates must have: A current state nursing license At least 2 years of recent acute care experience Travel experience is required Enjoy the outdoor recreation that Lake Havasu City offers, with beautiful mountain ranges and serene lake scenery. The area is conveniently located within driving distance to major cities such as Las Vegas (2.5 hours), Phoenix (3.25 hours), Grand Canyon National Park (3.5 hours), and Los Angeles or San Diego, CA (5 hours).
