Clinical Nurse II – Cardiology Prep/Recovery Now hiring: Clinical Nurse II – Cardiology Prep/Recovery Per diem | Day shift | UNC Medical Center & UNC Hillsborough | Chapel Hill, NCReady to advance your nursing skills in a specialized cardiology setting? Join the UNC Medical Center Cardiology Prep/Recovery team and provide specialized care to patients before and after cardiology procedures. This per diem opportunity is ideal for a nurse with previous Cath Lab or Electrophysiology (EP) Prep experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced cardiac care environment. Schedule & Flexibility One 12-hour shift every two weeks, Monday–Friday (7:00 AM–7:30 PM).No weekend requirements. Shifts may be scheduled at either the UNC Medical Center main campus or UNC Hillsborough campus. Per diem flexibility with a minimum commitment of one shift every two weeks. Preferred
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous Cath Lab or Electrophysiology (EP) Prep/Recovery experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills. Ability to support patients before and after specialized cardiology procedures. ACLS certification required.
