Position Details Title: Creative Arts Therapy Clinical Supervisor Position Number: 897201 School/Division: School of Health Sciences Full-Time or Part-Time: Part-Time Description To provide clinical supervision to Creative Arts Therapy graduate students who are completing their clinical practicum and/or internship in the CMHP Clinic.
Responsibilities: Supervises Creative Arts Therapy students engaged in their clinical practicum and/or internship in the Counseling and Mental Health Professions Clinic. Observes students running psychoeducational groups on-site at the Joan and Arnold Saltzman Community Services Center. Attends bi‐monthly supervision meetings with the Counseling and Mental Health Professions Clinic Director.
Qualifications: Master's degree in creative arts therapy. Current New York State Creative Arts Therapy License. At least 5 years' experience supervising practicum students and interns in creative arts therapy. Experience using Electronic Health Records systems for the purpose of reviewing student clinician's charts, progress notes, and treatment plans.
