About the role

Job Responsibilities: Material Testing (Certifications Required)Review approved construction drawings and specifications Communicate with contractor workers, foremen, superintendents, project managers, building inspectors and report findings Write concise inspection reports using specific language pertaining to contract documents, approved drawings, and any applicable code Communicate with AAR office to report inspection observations, scheduling and sample pick up coordination Inspection and verification of materials for compliance to the plans and specifications Accurately complete quality records relating to material testing Review of contract documents Ensure that contractors comply with specifications The ability to obtain additional certifications to perform in-field material testing Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Required Knowledge, Experience, and CertificationsACI Field 1 CertificationWAQTC In Place Density Certification Nuclear Gauge Certification High School diploma or equivalent Authorization to work in the United States No previous experience in the construction industry is required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills Valid driver’s license with a clean record Energetic, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage a multi-task workload
