Product Engineer

Responsibilities: As a Product Engineer located in Fuquay-Varina, NC, you will: Develop and implement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of existing products Manage the implementation of multiple moderate scope projects on a common timeline tied to a pre-determined implementation date Identify the root cause of identified issues and develop corrective actions to resolve them Collaborate within a cross-functional team to provide engineering support What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)Proficient in 3D CAD, other engineering tools & systems (Creo, Windchill, SAP, ANSYS, etc.)Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, structural, and powertrain systems and the ability to troubleshoot them Excellent written & verbal communication skills Working knowledge of technical drawings and GD&TExperience taking designs from ideas to fully implemented into production Experience performing engineering calculations and data analysis Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Electrical Engineering What Makes You Stand Out (Desired skills/experiences)Advanced engineering degree Experience with commercial mowing products or parallel industries Experience with gasoline and diesel engines and engine systems Experience with design for manufacturing techniques Knowledge of systems engineering and/or six sigma methodologies
