GENERAL HELPER

Overview: Peters’ Heat Treating is a privately held, family-owned business that has been thriving on a customer focused, results driven operation for over 40 years. We offer a wide range of heat treatments that service customers in the tool & die, automotive, aerospace, blade/cutlery, medical, military and nuclear industries. With multiple locations and an array of services offered we are able to provide our customers with worry-free, full-service heat treating. The General Helper is responsible for providing support to heat treat processors on a daily basis. This job may include but is not limited to sandblasting, handling customer materials, fixturing parts for processing and plant housekeeping. It is pertinent that the applicant is able to follow instructions and that he/she is consistent, accurate, and detail oriented.

Able to stand for 8+ hours Willing and able to work in hot and/or cold environment

Preferred Qualifications: Experience and/or basic understanding of heat treating principles Experience in tooling or manufacturing industries Knowledge in the use of metallurgical testing equipment
