About the role

Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Join our dynamic team at Lanessa Extended Care as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). As a PTA, you will play a crucial role in the provision of physical therapy services to our patients, under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. Weekly pay up to $40 an hour.
Education & Experience:
  • Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited programCEU's per state licensure requirements
  • Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required
  • Prior clinical experience preferred but not required
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Participate in clinical program development and implementation
  • Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
  • Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor
  • Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis
  • Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field
