Have a minimum of two years of nursing experience in a critical care area relevant to the type of SCT transports the RN will provide (pediatric vs. adult), within the previous 24 months prior to employment as a transport nurse. Transports are generally for critically ill patients who are being moved between hospitals and/or facilities.
