Financial Operations Analyst Strong financial operations depend on more than accurate numbers. As a Financial Operations Analyst with Special School District, you will use your analytical skills to help the Finance team understand trends, anticipate needs, and make informed decisions about District resources. You will work across Finance to strengthen processes, support major initiatives, and build shared knowledge that helps critical work continue smoothly as systems and responsibilities evolve. From financial analysis and reporting to process and technology improvements, your work will give District leaders reliable information and help build efficient, sustainable financial analysts work at our Central Office, 12110 Clayton Road, Town & Country, MO, 63131, Monday through Friday, typically from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required A minimum of three years of progressive responsibility with financial analysis, accounting, governmental accounting, budgeting, auditing, or financial operations requiredExperience analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and communicating findings to organizational leadership requiredExperience with governmental or public-sector finance preferred; Missouri public school finance experience strongly preferredExperience supporting federal grants, financial audits, enterprise resource planning systems, or internal control processes preferredExperience compiling and analyzing large datasets and communicating financial information and recommendations through clear written reports, presentations, and graphical representations required Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsCPA, SFO, CGFM, or other related certification preferred Salary$90,000 - $100,000/year based on education and experience Calendar12-month position
