Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements: BLS and NIHSS is required, ACLS is preferred NIHSS needs to be in hand at time of submission.

Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in a Neuro unit, managing neurological disorders, stroke, seizures, and post-operative spine patients. Utilize EPIC electronic health record system efficiently and accurately. Monitor and document patient status, including reviewing monitor strips and managing ventilator settings with RT support. Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to ensure patient needs are met 24/7.Adhere to patient ratios and unit protocols, including managing titratable drips as per physician orders.
