Senior Platform Engineer II, Compute Services

Overview In this role, you will strengthen the reliability and scalability of Core Weave's multi-tenant Kubernetes platforms, partnering with development teams to design robust deployment architectures. You will lead lifecycle and on-call operations, investigate complex Kubernetes reliability incidents, and drive best practices for secure, efficient pipelines. This position sits at the intersection of platform engineering and cloud-native operations, supporting Core Weave’s mission to accelerate AI breakthroughs. Compensation / Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance - 100% paid Life insurance Disability insurance 401(k) with employer match Flexible PTOTuition reimbursement Responsibilities Administer multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters with access controls, quotas, and isolation Champion reliability initiatives for Kubernetes deployments, focusing on high availability and resource efficiency Perform cluster lifecycle management: provisioning, patching, monitoring, backup, DR, and troubleshooting Investigate and root-cause complex reliability incidents using advanced debugging and monitoring tools Handle on-call duties to resolve critical incidents outside business hours Collaborate with development teams to establish proper deployment architectures and pipelines Key requirements 5+ years administering multi-tenant SAAS Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKS)Strong Git Ops/Dev Ops with ArgoCD or similar helm chart management Proven Docker and containerization experience Strong Linux OS experience Proficient in GoExcellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills Strong communication and collaborationstrong communicationcollaborationproblem-solving Kubernetes administration (multi-tenant SAAS)Go programming Docker
