About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Women’s Outerwear Designer with 7+ years of hands-on women’s outerwear experience and a strong background in performance, outdoor and outerwear. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of jacket design, construction, fit, fabrication, technical performance and cost engineering — from initial concept through production.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of key categories across Women’s and performance outerwear
  • Create detailed technical sketches, tech packs and construction specifications
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of outerwear fabrics, insulation and functional trims
  • Understand women’s fit, proportion and silhouette, combining technical function with feminine, commercial styling
  • Study market trends, consumer shifts and competitive outerwear to identify emerging opportunities in silhouette, fabrication, color, function and innovation
  • Partner closely with Production and overseas factories on costing and cost engineering, identifying opportunities in fabrication, construction, trims and garment engineering to achieve target costs without compromising the integrity, performance or aesthetic of the product
  • Actively utilize AI tools throughout the design and development process to accelerate concept development, trend and competitive research, color exploration, visualization and overall workflow efficiency
  • Stay current on emerging AI design tools and technologies and identify new ways to incorporate them into the outerwear development process
  • Work closely with Merchandising, Production, and overseas factories from concept through final production
Required Skills:
  • 7+ years of hands-on women’s outerwear experience
  • Strong background in performance, outdoor and outerwear
  • Deep understanding of jacket design, construction, fit, fabrication, technical performance and cost engineering — from initial concept through production
  • Technical outerwear expertise
  • Strong women’s design sensibility

  • Forward-thinking approach to technologyAI proficiency, including experience using AI-powered tools as part of design, research, visualization and product-development workflow
Preferred Skills: Portfolio demonstrating significant Women’s Outerwear experience, including technical construction, fit, fabrication and finished product
