Job Description:
Job Description Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate We are looking for a dependable and experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team. This position will be responsible for safely operating multiple types of material-handling equipment while assisting with general warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up/reach forklifts, and cherry pickers/order pickers
- Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the warehouse
- Pull, stage, and put away inventory accurately and efficiently
- Assist with receiving, shipping, picking, packing, and general warehouse duties
- Verify products, quantities, and inventory locations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse and forklift operating experience required
Hands-on experience operating all of the following is required:
- Sit-down forklift
- Stand-up/reach forklift
- Cherry picker/order picker
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Forklift certification is preferred, but additional training may be provided as required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Ability to safely climb on and off warehouse equipment
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and perform repetitive physical tasks
