I&E / Gas Management Foreman - Karnes County, TX

Island Operating is seeking an experienced I&E / Gas Management Foreman to support land-based oil and gas production operations in Karnes County, Texas. Qualified candidates must have a strong hands‑on background in I&E, controls, and gas measurement within land-based oil and gas production facilities. Responsibilities & Experience Troubleshoot and maintain instrumentation, electrical systems, controls, and field devices Work with pressure, level, and flow instrumentation, transmitters, control valves, and switches Troubleshoot PLC/control systems, electrical circuits, motors, and VFDs Perform calibrations, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs Oversee and coordinate gas measurement and meter‑related activities Coordinate and perform 3rd-party meter proofing and review/complete proofing reports Troubleshoot measurement issues and verify meters and associated instrumentation are operating accurately Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, loop diagrams, and equipment documentation Coordinate I&E and gas management activities with production personnel and third‑party vendors Maintain accurate maintenance, calibration, measurement, and proofing documentation Lead field activities while following LOTO, JSA, permit‑to-work, and other safe work practices
