Forward Deployed Engineer ~ High‑Growth AI SaaS ~ US (Remote) but travel included We’re working with a fast‑scaling SaaS company on a mission to transform how complex, field‑based industries operate - using cutting‑edge AI, automation, and data‑driven insights to make work safer, faster, and more efficient. They’re now looking for aForward Deployed Engineerto join the team and act as the technical bridge between product, engineering, and customers. You’ll work directly with enterprise clients to design, prototype, and deliver real‑world AI solutions that drive measurable impact.
The Role:
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll beembedded with customers– getting under the skin of their operations, understanding their data and challenges, and turning that into live, working technology. This isn’t a “behind the scenes” engineering role – it’s aboutbeing in the field , building fast, andproving value .You’ll spend time on customer sites (UK-wide), developing integrations, AI workflows, and automations that combine your technical depth with a customer‑first mindset.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Partner with enterprise customers to uncover operational pain points and design technical solutions that deliver ROI.Prototype and deploy new AI‑driven workflows and intelligent automation tools.
- Build and configure integrations across React/React Native + Python/Django (with support from the wider engineering team).Work directly with stakeholders – from engineers in the field to C‑suite – to shape requirements and influence roadmap priorities.
- Act as a technical owner on customer deployments, driving adoption, delivery, and measurable results.
- Strong foundation as asoftware engineer(ideally full‑stack: React/React Native + Python/Django, or similar).Now working in (or ready to step into) acustomer‑facing technical role– e.g. Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Solution Architect.
- Comfortablebuilding, deploying, and iteratingat speed in ambiguous environments.
- Experience or curiosity inAI tools, LLMs, automation agents, or intelligent workflow systems .Excellent communicator – able to turn complex tech into tangible business value.
- Happy to travel – you’ll spend the first few weeks of each new deployment on‑site with customers (UK‑wide).You’ll join a high‑growth scale‑up backed by leading global investors, working on technology that genuinely changes how industries operate.
