About the role
Overview:
In this role you lead the Content team to shape customer experiences through concise, compelling copy across digital and communications. You balance strategic content direction with hands-on writing, coaching a team of writers and editors to deliver high-quality, on-brand content. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to align content with business goals and customer needs in a fast-paced environment. This is a chance to influence governance, tone, and multi-channel content at scale while leveraging AI tools to augment production. You'll work in a hybrid setting with a focus on delivering impact for customer experience and growth. Responsibilities:
- Define and execute content strategies that support customer experience and business objectives
- Deliver high-volume content creation and editing across digital pages, blogs, emails, FAQs, and product experiences (~35% of role)
- Lead cross-functional programs as content lead for strategic initiatives
- Improve content governance, processes, and efficiency; ensure consistent voice and customer experience across touchpoints
- Advocate for customer-focused communication and plain-language principles
- Communicate content strategy and recommendations to leadership and partners
Key requirements:
- Bachelor+ degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Digital Media, or related field 8+ years in content strategy, copywriting, editorial, content marketing, UX writing, or related disciplines 3+ years of people leadership
- Strong portfolio demonstrating writing, editing, and content strategy
- Experience with multi-channel content strategies and governance frameworks
- Ability to simplify complex information for customers
- Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and influencing decisions
