Experiential Designer

Minimum Qualifications: Portfolio: A robust portfolio of built experiential lab prototypes, environments, exhibits, installations, or brand spaces, showcasing the journey from sketch to fabrication. Production Craft: Expert hands-on skills in 3D modeling, spatial visualization, prototyping, and material selection. Software Tooling: Proficiency using tools like Rhino, Blender, Cinema 4D, Sketch Up, Figma, or the Adobe Creative Suite. Execution Autonomy: Proven ability to execute complex projects independently without needing a producer or creative director to unblock you. Mission Alignment: Deep care for tech ethics and a commitment to representing technical capabilities honestly through design.

Preferred Qualifications: Tech Prototyping: Fluency prototyping in code or with AI tools, with experience in projection-based, sensor-driven, or interactive media. Scientific Grounding: Background in cognitive science, behavioral science, or environmental psychology. Event Scoping: Experience designing high-profile technology conferences, keynotes, developer events, or immersive theatre. Niche Environments: Background working within innovation labs, museums, retail, hospitality, or repeat-visitor workplaces. Adjacent Craft Depth: Experience in sound, motion, lighting, industrial design, or complex graphic systems.
