Propane Delivery Driver
Location: Lantana, FLAt the heart of our Company is a dedication to delivering energy that drives progress. We put people first, work to keep them safe and build trusting relationships. What you'll be working onOperating truck and delivery equipment safely to deliver propane gas. Performing pre trip and post trip safety inspections of vehicle and equipment. Documenting findings of inspections and ensuring appropriate action is taken in regards to any exceptions. Preparing and maintaining all appropriate documentation required of drivers by the Department of Transportation. Observing all traffic rules and practicing defensive driving techniques. Observing all company, industry, and regulatory guidelines regarding the safe operation of equipment and the delivery of propane gas. Recording deliveries, meter readings and tank percentages accurately. Checking credit status of customers prior to making deliveries when on call. Collecting payments from customers and disconnecting gas service as directed. Being sensitive to customers' situations and providing helpful assistance to resolve problems. Performing other related duties as assigned.
Who you are:
  • You possess an active CDL class B.You possess a Hazmat endorsement.
  • You have a keen sense of smell.
  • You love working with customers and have great communication skills.
  • You are able to maintain truck in a safe and clean manner.
  • You are comfortable with the below hazards and working conditions:
  • Exposure to various substances which could be hazardous if handled improperly.
  • Assigned tasks are normally performed in field surroundings with exposure to all types of weather conditions.
