Travel Nurse RN - Oncology in Beckley, WV

Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care within an infusion/oncology setting with a daily caseload of approximately 70 patients and a 1:4 patient ratio Perform and support External Beam Therapy (CBCT/kV/mV imaging) and IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy) treatments Administer prophylactic treatments in accordance with established protocols Maintain and apply Radiation Safety standards throughout all clinical activities Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records

Required Qualifications: Active WV RN license or valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted for submission) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required BLS certification required (American Heart Association) Proficiency in CBCT/kV/mV imaging, External Beam Therapy, IMRT, and Radiation Safety Must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates residing between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis Flu vaccination required; medical exemption (documented by an allergist or physician of record) may be considered Preferred Experience / SkillsONC (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification preferred Prior infusion center experience Inpatient and/or outpatient oncology experience
