Overview: Our Digital Media Client is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect IV – Cloud Security to serve as a senior cloud security subject matter expert responsible for securing and governing cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This individual will partner closely with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to review architectures, identify security risks, and design secure solutions that support modern cloud-native applications, serverless platforms, AI/ML workloads, and publicly facing services. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cloud infrastructure and security architecture, has supported production environments at scale, and is comfortable acting as an internal consultant by providing security guidance, conducting architecture reviews, and influencing technical teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities: Serve as a senior Cloud Security SME across enterprise cloud environments. Partner with engineering and product teams to design secure cloud-native, serverless, and distributed architectures. Review cloud infrastructure, applications, and AI/ML workflows to identify risks and recommend security improvements prior to deployment. Provide guidance on Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies, least-privilege access models, and cloud security best practices. Conduct security reviews of infrastructure and application designs across multiple teams and business units. Evaluate publicly facing cloud services and recommend controls to improve security posture. Collaborate with AWS, Azure, and GCP technical teams to address security challenges and influence platform adoption strategies. Design, implement, and enhance cloud security controls, standards, automation, and governance processes. Create architecture documentation, security recommendations, design artifacts, and implementation guidance. Mentor junior engineers and security professionals while helping establish cloud security standards across the organization. Stay current on emerging cloud, infrastructure, AI, and cybersecurity threats. Participate as a senior-level escalation resource within an on-call rotation as needed.

Required Qualifications: Extensive experience securing cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.Strong understanding of cloud security architecture, security controls, and risk management. Experience conducting architecture reviews and security assessments for multiple engineering teams. Deep knowledge of IAM, least-privilege access models, identity governance, and access control frameworks. Experience supporting and securing production cloud environments. Strong understanding of serverless architectures, cloud networking, and modern application deployment models. Experience evaluating and securing publicly accessible cloud infrastructure and applications. Ability to communicate security findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong documentation and architecture-design skills.
