Conventional Lathe Machinist

As a Conventional Machinist, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities: Machine components according to instructions and engineering drawings Review blueprints, routing sheets and accompanying documentation for accuracy and machining requirements Follow safety rules, manufacturing instructions, work rules and other manufacturing guidelines Work with team members and your team leader to perform daily duties, including completing the production schedule Perform other duties and responsibilities as required This position requires the following skills and attributes: Must possess a technical and hands-on approach to solve issues At least 2 years of experience with conventional lathe machining Strong interpersonal skills Must read, write and speak English Medical device manufacturing experience is helpful but not required The following skills and attributes are preferred: Certificate from any technical training institution or collegeCNC manufacturing experience is helpful Bilingual proficiency in Spanish
