Salary:
$50,960 - 63,440 per year Requirements: 1–2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or in a highly quantitative corporate or technical role; one year of data analysis experience is required. Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced functions, PivotTables, and VLOOKUP, and comfort organizing data. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is an asset. Strong critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail in metrics. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to reliably commute to our San Diego, California office. English proficiency is required.
Responsibilities:
Extract, clean, and organize large datasets from relational databases and internal technology platforms. Build, maintain, and automate dashboards and recurring performance tracking logs using data visualization software. Analyze trends, identify operational bottlenecks, and audit statistical variances to inform business decisions. Work with our product development, operations, and marketing teams to improve metric collection and align tracking strategies. Present quantitative findings to leadership through clear written summaries, reports, and visual charts. Conduct routine database checks to maintain the accuracy and quality of our centralized records.
