Gap Grinder - (2nd SHIFT)

Location: Valencia, CA Shift: 2nd Shift - Tuesday-Saturday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM (training M-F) Overtime: Required as needed Pay: $25.00-$35.00/hr DOE POSITION OVERVIEWSeeking an experienced Gap Grinder to operate conventional grinding machines for large and complex aerospace components.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Set up and operate conventional gap grinders Read engineering drawings and work instructions Inspect parts using precision measuring tools Select tooling, feeds, speeds, and depth of cut Monitor and adjust machines to meet specifications Complete required production and inspection documentation Maintain quality, safety, and housekeeping standards QUALIFICATIONSU.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required (ITAR) High school diploma/GED 2-5 years of conventional grinding experience; gap grinding preferred Experience grinding green and plated components Ability to read technical drawings Proficient with precision measuring tools Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods PREFERREDAerospace MRO experience Manual mill or lathe experience
