Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)
Pay Rate: $35.00 - $40.00/hour Duration: Temporary assignment through mid-June Schedule: Standard business hours with flexibility to collaborate across time zones
Position Overview: A leading financial services company is seeking a Loan Servicing Analyst to support loan operations, invoicing, payment tracking, collateral administration, and portfolio maintenance. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with loan servicing, banking operations, or financial services experience who enjoys working with data and collaborating across teams.
Responsibilities: Maintain collateral records, documentation, values, and expiration dates within the Loan Management System (LMS). Review collateral verification reports, resolve discrepancies, and support collateral releases and liquidations. Generate, review, and distribute loan invoices while ensuring loan data is accurate and up to date. Track outstanding payments, issue reminders, and support collections and default procedures when required. Produce loan payoff letters and transaction histories as needed. Update insurance carrier and financial institution ratings in accordance with company procedures. Perform post-funding loan file audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve servicing issues and support ongoing loan administration.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Experience in loan servicing, banking operations, financial services, or a related operations environment. Working knowledge of collateral documentation, loan servicing, interest billing, and the loan lifecycle. Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting lending, loan operations, or servicing functions. Strong attention to detail and affinity for working with numbers and data. Proactive, process-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative. Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across departments and time zones. Fine print: This is a W2 position. This is not a contract.
