Remote Go Backend Engineer - Control Plane

Tailscale, a fully remote company, seeks a skilled Software Engineer to join our Control Plane Team. You will work with engineers to develop the product, contribute to open source client code and backend services, and own features from ideation to delivery. You should have experience with distributed systems and Go, plus SQL databases and networking basics. The role emphasizes collaboration, asynchronous work, and a security-first mindset in building scalable, observable services.
