Details Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of an acute care hospital Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00 Floating may be requested based on facility needs Uses Epic charting system Requirements Active VA RN license or compact license in hand Current certifications: BLS and NRP required; ACLS and AWHONN Intermediate preferred ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications must be through the American Heart Association (AHA) Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required Previous charge nurse experience required Specialty experience within the last year required Epic EMR charting experience required NIH Stroke Scale education required Additional Information Provide nursing care within the Labor and Delivery unit Local candidates accepted at the same base rate Previous permanent employees must have a 6-month gap before returning as a traveler RTO requests should be minimal, ideally none, with a maximum of 7 days total for the assignment All RTO requests must be submitted with the initial application and confirmed prior to approval No additional RTO requests will be approved after an offer is extended First-time travelers are not considered for this position American Traveler Job ID P-.
