Criminal Defense Attorney

Criminal defense attorney with 8+ years of experience needed for the 15th and 19th circuit offices of “RC4” -- The Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, 4th DCA Region of Florida. Positions are available in Palm Beach County, and across the 19th Circuit covering Indian River, Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee Counties. RC4 is a state agency which provides criminal defense representation to the indigent in cases in which the public defender’s office has withdrawn due to a conflict of interest. RC4 is seeking candidates with a commitment to an assertive, client-centered representation model and to a proactive, pre-trial litigation approach to casework. Previous jury trial experience representing clients facing first degree felonies and higher is preferred. Additionally, candidates should possess an ability to excel in a team environment and to meet the demands of a serious crimes caseload. Full-time position with state benefits. Salary TBD based upon candidate’s experience and within the framework of the RC4’s existing pay scale. Please include cover letter & resume when applying.
