Position: Merchandiser (Beverage Industry)
Type: Full-Time, Seasonal Location: Lynwood
Pay: $21 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 6AM-2:30PMJob Details
This position is ideal for candidates with experience in merchandising, grocery, beverage distribution, retail stocking, route sales support, or consumer packaged goods (CPG). Successful candidates enjoy working independently, building displays, maintaining product presentation standards, and interacting with retail partners.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain product displays within assigned retail accounts
- Update pricing, promotional signage, and special offers as directed
- Stock products on shelves, displays, and cold boxes to maintain appropriate inventory levels
- Install and maintain point-of-sale materials and promotional displays
- Ensure products are properly displayed and merchandised according to company standards
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with retail customers and store personnel
- Monitor product presentation and communicate opportunities for improvement
- Complete required reports, documentation, and other administrative tasks
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Qualifications / Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of merchandising, stocking, retail, warehouse, customer service, or related experience preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and manage daily priorities
- Strong communication and customer service skillsAbility to follow merchandising plans and display requirements
- Knowledge of retail merchandising principles preferred
- Experience working in beverage, grocery, consumer goods, or retail environments is a plus
This position requires successful completion of a background screening after a conditional offer of employment, in accordance with Washington State law.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and stooping throughout the workday
- Occasional sitting and computer use for reporting and documentation
- Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to stock shelves, build displays, and move products safely
