Full Time Janitorial Crew Lead (Janitorial)

Position Summary: The Crew Lead will provide day-to-day leadership to janitorial staff, assign cleaning duties, inspect completed work, train employees, manage supplies, and help ensure all client and company cleaning standards are met. The ideal candidate has previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, custodial work, or cleaning supervision and is comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: Lead, supervise, and support a team of janitorial and cleaning employees. Assign daily cleaning duties and ensure work is completed according to schedule. Inspect facilities to ensure cleaning quality and company standards are maintained. Perform hands-on janitorial and commercial cleaning duties as needed. Train new and existing employees on proper cleaning procedures, safety practices, and equipment use. Monitor employee attendance, performance, and productivity. Ensure restrooms, offices, common areas, floors, break rooms, and other assigned areas are properly cleaned and maintained. Properly use and maintain commercial cleaning equipment and supplies. Monitor janitorial supplies and report inventory needs to management. Follow OSHA, workplace safety, and company cleaning procedures. Address cleaning issues or client concerns professionally and promptly. Communicate daily operational needs and performance updates to management. Help maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment. Complete cleaning checklists, inspection reports, and other required documentation. Assist with special cleaning projects, deep cleaning, and other facility maintenance tasks when needed.
