Retail Merchandising Program Manager Top 3 must-have HARD skills: Large-scale retail merchandising execution — multi-store fixture, display, graphics, and seasonal refresh installations. Third-party labor and vendor management — managing field agencies, fixture vendors, schedules, scope, and quality. Budget and retail data management — PO/invoice reconciliation, spend tracking, dashboards, and large store-level datasets. Good to have skills: Agency-side retail merchandising experience delivering programs for brand clients. Consumer electronics and national retail account experience—Walmart, Best Buy, Sam's Club, or carrier retail. Shop-in-Shop program experience from concept and production through in-store installation.

Typical Day in the Role: Reporting, Analysis & Budget Report field execution results to the regional manager and internal stakeholders, at a daily or weekly cadence during active install windows Build and maintain processes, routines, and dashboards for tracking execution, compliance, and R&M needs Partner with the internal analytics team to develop recommendations that optimize ROI and efficiency, reviewed with the regional manager before implementation Reconcile field data against source systems and drive cleanup where records and field conditions diverge Track third-party labor invoicing, purchase orders, and installation and R&M spend against budget, flagging variances early Program Execution & Operations Prioritize and progress a high volume of concurrent projects across a high number of retail doors against fixed retailer deadlines Build execution plans for initiatives spanning all product lines, including detailed work-back schedules and deliverables Coordinate deployment of updated fixtures and graphics for seasonal refreshes and graphic update cycles Track display and fixture compliance across the portfolio, measure against the agreed standard, and drive the field activity required to meet it Coordinate repair and maintenance processes to sustain consistent brand representation across all locations Conduct store visits and market walks to validate execution quality and gather field insight Third-Party Labor Agency Coordination Act as a day-to-day point of contact for regional third-party labor partners, fixture and display production companies, channel marketing, and field sales, resolving routine issues and escalating where direction is needed Run recurring third-party labor meetings to track deliverables and surface risks Monitor agency performance against scope, schedule, and quality, identifying execution gaps early and proposing corrective action Help establish, maintain, and apply operational processes for in-store and regional activity with third-party labor partners Draft installation instructions and program guidance for labor and retailer partners, reviewed with the regional manager before release Cross-functional Collaboration Partner across Channel Marketing, Sales, Staffing, Visual Merchandising, Finance, Procurement, Retail Technology, and Channel Experiences Work with third-party labor agencies, R&M vendors, fixture vendors, and retailers through implementation and ongoing operations Communicate clearly to internal and external audiences, tailoring updates to the audience Help establish the routines, escalation paths, and documentation that keep a broad partner group aligned
