Overview: Sentara is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant in Woodbridge, Viriginia This is an Outpatient, Rehab Therapy facility This is a Full-Time, Day shift opportunity with great benefits As a Physical Therapy Assistant, youwill administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist. Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members. Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions by accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures. Participates/assists with updates in the formal plan of care to address individual patient needs. Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and families to improve patient outcomes. Productive and efficient in daily operations. The base pay range for full-time employment is $32.18 - $47.43 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
