This role requires an AI-first mindset, strong delivery leadership, organizational change management awareness, and the ability to operate across multiple disciplines including project management, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and strategic advisory. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable facilitating executive steering committee meetings, defining business requirements, managing Jira backlogs, driving organizational readiness, and partnering with technical teams to deliver measurable business outcomes. This role is not limited to traditional project management. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor capable of wearing multiple hats throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesLead complex enterprise technology implementations and transformation programsDevelop and manage project plans, roadmaps, budgets, risks, issues, and dependenciesFacilitate executive steering committees, operating committees, and stakeholder meetingsDrive project governance and decision-making processesEnsure delivery aligns with strategic business objectivesServe as Jira administrator, power user, or delivery leadManage backlogs, epics, stories, defects, change requests, and sprint planning activitiesEstablish governance processes and delivery standards within Jira or similar platformsMonitor project metrics, velocity, burn-down trends, and delivery performanceDrive continuous improvement of Agile delivery practicesFacilitate workshops to gather and document business requirementsTranslate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteriaConduct process analysis and identify opportunities for optimizationPartner with architects and technical teams to evaluate solution optionsEnsure business requirements remain aligned throughout implementationIncorporate change management practices into project planning and executionAssess organizational impacts and stakeholder readinessPartner with business leaders to develop communication, training, and adoption strategiesIdentify adoption risks and develop mitigation plansEnsure projects address both technical delivery and people impactsBuild trusted advisor relationships with executives and business stakeholdersManage client expectations and communicationsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and strategic consultingSupport account growth and long-term client successRepresent the organization professionally in executive-facing environmentsLeverage AI tools to improve project delivery efficiency and qualityUtilize AI for requirements analysis, documentation, reporting, risk identification, and workflow optimizationPromote AI-enabled delivery practices across project teamsEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative approachesRequired Qualifications8-10 years leading enterprise technology projectsExperience managing large-scale ERP, CRM, PLM, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Atlassian, or similar enterprise platformsAdvanced Jira expertiseStrong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery methodologiesExperience facilitating executive-level discussions and governance meetingsStrong business analysis and process improvement capabilitiesExperience with organizational change management principles and practicesDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teamsExceptional communication and presentation skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience serving as both Project Manager and OCM LeadExperience in consulting or client-facing advisory environmentsPMP, PMI-ACP, Prosci, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent certificationsExperience with AI-enabled delivery tools and platformsExperience leading digital transformation initiativesTelecom, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Public Sector, or Financial Services experienceSuccess CharacteristicsStrategic thinker who can connect technology initiatives to business outcomesComfortable operating in ambiguity and rapidly changing environmentsStrong executive presenceHighly organized and detail-orientedConsultative and relationship-drivenNaturally curious and continuously learningAI-first mindset with a passion for innovation*Must be located in Charlotte, NC area and able to work a hybrid schedule*M&S Consulting proactively fulfills its role as an equal opportunity employer.
