Manager, Software Development & Engineering

Overview In this role you will build and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality before release. You will work with SDETs and development teams to implement test strategies, analyze defects, and drive continuous improvement. The position offers hands-on experience with automation frameworks and testing activities in a collaborative, on-site setting. You will contribute to release readiness and quality across critical applications while growing toward advanced automation responsibilities. Compensation / Benefitsbonus or incentive opportunities Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated test cases using established frameworks and standards Support test planning including data strategy, environment planning, timelines, and tool selection Troubleshoot test failures, manage defects, and coordinate with developers for resolution Collaborate with analysts, product owners, developers, and SDETs to validate requirements and acceptance criteria Participate in peer reviews, process improvements, and automation initiatives to boost efficiency and quality Key requirements 3+ years in automated test development and maintenance using Java-based frameworks Proficiency with Java, REST, Selenium, JUnit, Cucumber, Gradle, Oracle, Swagger Experience in Windows, Linux, and Unix environments Understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and defect management Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team Knowledge of distributed systems interactionsstrong communicationcollaborationproblem-solving Java-based automation frameworks SeleniumJUnit
