Role Description:
The Test and Evaluation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based at Patrick Space Force Base, FL. The customer is STARCOM S3CV, Test Enterprise Branch and primary role is to provide HQ STARCOM/TE support to organize, train and equip a space warfighting test workforce to support the US National Security Strategy and Chief Space Officers strategic intent. Provide policy, strategy and resources to support an integrated enterprise test campaign that demonstrates space warfighting capabilities and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures as they are developed and evolve.
Primary Duties:
Develop operational test and training requirements recommendations in applicable System Training Plans and Test Strategies, as prescribed in the Space Force and STARCOM instructions, to enhance mission success and survivability based on mission requirements and the threats associated with each system. Align recommendations with established training plans and test strategies. Coordinate specific attributes to enhance mission success and survivability.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
BA/BS or MA/MS desiredSECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret / SCI (SAP/SAR eligible day 1)
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Engineering, including test planning, design, and Deep experience in initiating and/or developing government specified content for Space/Cyber programs.
Experience in providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations for Space/Cyber mission and program challenges.evaluation of complex systems.
Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and Testing, including running tests, collecting data, and verifying system behavior.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional engineering and project teams. xsgimln
Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or related high-reliability industries in Cocoa Beach or similar environments is a plus.
