AI Engineer- Senior Associate

Overview In this role you will develop and deploy generative AI features within KPMG’s Audit Technology Alliance, shaping scalable AI-driven solutions. You work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust AI components and maintain high-quality code. You will improve AI workflows, from RAG pipelines to context engineering, and ensure reliable, performant microservices in a cloud-native environment. Compensation / Benefitscomprehensive benefits packagemedical and dental plansvision coverage 401(k)well-being benefits Personal Time Off Responsibilities Develop and implement core components of generative AI solutions aligned with business requirements Collaborate with senior engineers and product managers on feature design and AI agent orchestration patterns Ensure code quality via unit tests, code reviews, and evaluation frameworks Advance product capabilities by building RAG pipelines, context engineering modules, and integrations with services like Azure AI Search and Databricks Deploy and maintain AI microservices with a focus on performance and scalability Participate in agile processes including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives Uphold professional integrity and a respectful work environment Key requirements Minimum three years of software engineering experience with AI or data-intensive applications Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred in computer science, engineering, AI, or related field Strong Python programming skills Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as Lang Chain, Llama Index, or Semantic Kernel Experience with SDLC tools like Azure Dev Ops, Git, and CI/CD pipelines Cloud platform knowledge (Azure preferred); experience with Docker and Kubernetes Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and good communication within teams Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the futurecollaborationclear communicationanalytical thinking Python Lang Chain Llama Index
