About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Duties: Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and overall childhood development. Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports behavior management and positive social interactions among children. Conduct child development assessments and utilize standardized testing where appropriate to monitor progress. Engage in effective classroom management to maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating learning space. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of incidents or concerns. Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the safety of all children at all times. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom activities, and school events to enhance the educational experience. Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood education, behavior management, and childcare best practices.
Qualifications: Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; classroom experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education standards, and classroom management techniques. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and physical education for young children. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood development or special education are a plus. Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports toddlers’ care needs and promotes positive social-emotional growth. Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, daycare best practices, and early childhood education principles.
