Credit Analyst / Underwriter

Key Responsibilities: Spread and analyze personal and business financial statements, including tax returns, to assess financial capacity for lending. Use sophisticated software tools to produce and evaluate key financial ratios and identify trends related to liquidity, revenues, and profitability. Collaborate closely with Commercial Lending officers to ensure complete and accurate documentation for new credit proposals and renewals. Assist in evaluating loan requests vigilantly, applying credit policies, identifying risks, and preparing clear, high-quality analysis for management and credit committees. Communicate effectively with Retail and Lending staff throughout all phases of credit review to facilitate efficient approvals. Ensure all loan files comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Qualifications: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis or related roles. Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Finance or Accounting. Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Office Suite (Word, Excel), and loan processing systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex documents and make well-informed decisions. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with discretion, diplomacy, and tact. Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds and remaining stationary for extended periods.

Preferred Skills: Experience in CRE, C&I lending, loan structuring, financial structuring, and DSCR analysis.
