Assembler-Light-Non- Electronic II - Masis Staffing

Duties & Responsibilities: Set up and operate designated hafting equipment according to established procedures. Hone and polish knife edges using designated honing and buffing equipment. Seal and trim knives using the designated sealing equipment and tools. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards. Maintain an organized and clean work area. Follow established production procedures and work instructions. Follow all company safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.

Required Skills & Abilities: Good manual dexterity and adequate range of motion to perform required production tasks. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, as required for the position and workplace safety. Ability to operate production equipment after receiving appropriate training.

Education & Experience: Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred. Experience operating production equipment is a plus. On-the-job training will be provided on company-specific equipment and procedures as applicable.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds as required. Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods. Ability to walk between workstations as required. Ability to bend and stoop as necessary to perform job duties. Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements associated with production tasks. Work Environment: Production/manufacturing environment. Work may involve operating production equipment that produces noise and may be exposed to typical manufacturing conditions, including workplace dust or odors associated with the production process. Employees are expected to follow established workplace procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).Appropriate training will be provided for equipment, work procedures, and applicable safety requirements. SafetyFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable OSHA requirements. Use required PPE and safety equipment as directed. Complete required safety and equipment training before operating designated machinery. Follow all established machine-operating procedures and report equipment or workplace concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
