Accounting Lead | Digital Assets | New York | $140-$160K + Bonus

Key Responsibilities: Own and review month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis. Reconcile cryptocurrency wallets, exchanges and blockchain transactions. Support SEC reporting, financial statement preparation and external audits. Work closely with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting and financial planning. Lead automation initiatives across balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close. Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures and internal controls. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting operations and improve reporting efficiency. Monitor evolving accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For: 3+ years of accounting experience across public accounting and industry. CPA strongly preferred. Big 4 experience is a significant plus. Background in fintech, particularly digital assets, cryptocurrency or payments. Strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally including IFRS.Experience with ERP systems, automation and complex reconciliations. Strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Compensation & Location$140,000–$160,000 base salary. Discretionary annual bonus and benefits.
